Current work

Working with campaigners and policymakers to explore alternative tourism modalities for the Antarctic Peninsula, such as slow tourism, to help reduce environmental impacts, manage operational pressures and enrich the passenger experience.

Founder of Antarctic Tourism and Science Network (ATSN), a digital communications project and website developed to improve knowledge transfer between Antarctic researchers (science and social science), and the tourism guides who work there.

Coordinating communication between Southern Ocean oceanographers and Antarctic tourism operators to establish relationships and explore potential partnerships to make it easier for tourism vessels to collect oceanographic data for Antarctic researchers.

Coordinating with scientists to create the first citizen science project on the Antarctic Peninsula to collect water samples for microplastic testing.
